At UWD, we keep up to date with the latest web development and design techniques.

We understand first and foremost, the site should look as you want it to, consistently across all browsers, Mac or PC.

We use CSS to style the page and XHTML for the content.  PHP is used for the programming.

This enables us to create a site which is easily updated by the client, who can then easily add images and content from any computer connected to the internet.

You may have noticed this site is quick and responsive. We know how to keep the code minimal and in tune with the machines which read it. This makes for a faster and more responsive site, which ultimately is a more pleasant experience for the visitor.

Emails are sent via forms to avoid email addresses being gathered and used for spam.  The form auto emails the customer to say the email has been received.

Layouts, music and video can all be uploaded and controlled by PHP.  We use PHP to cache the website, meaning performance is as fast as a static HTML site. There are many other features we can add with PHP, see the side menu for more.

Javascript can be used for effects. There are many interesting, exciting and helpful things that can be done with this language. 

We also can use Flash to build eye catching banners and visual effects. Flash can also be used to build complete web sites, we are currently commissioned to do just that for a client.

We have our own UWD custom Flash video and Flash mp3 music player, which can be branded to suit the style of your company.
